Medication Management
For those already working with a therapist, I offer thoughtful medication management. I incorporate extensive patient education, collaborative decision-making and elements of psychotherapy (ACT, CBT, MI, IPT) where appropriate with all of my patients. Follow up appointments are 30 minutes and appointment frequency is variable based on a number of factors.

Initial Consultation:
All new patients are seen for a 60 minute initial consultation. This appointment is an opportunity for us to determine whether we’re a good fit to work together. A treatment relationship is not guaranteed during the initial consultation period (our first 3 appointments) and will depend on clinical appropriateness and mutual agreement.

Insurance and Reimbursement:
I am in network with United/Optum only. For all other insurances (including Medicare and Medicaid), I am an out-of-network provider. With out-of-network providers, you pay the full cost of the service at the time of the appointment and then may choose to submit documentation to insurance for reimbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. Most FSA/HSA spending plans are also accepted as payment.

What are out-of-network benefits?
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, it means they will cover a portion of the cost when you see a provider who doesn’t have a direct contract with your insurance company. If your insurance includes words such as “preferred provider” or “PPO”, that means you likely have out of network benefits. If your insurance cards includes letters like “HMO”, you probably do not. Insurance companies often reimburse a percentage of the fee, typically after you meet an out-of-network deductible. I recommend you call the services number on the back of your insurance card to verify your behavioral health coverage and deductible.

Benefits of Out-of-Network Care:
Choosing to work with me gives you more privacy, flexibility, personalized care, and transparent prices with no hidden fees or monthly membership fee.
